The Steam Summer Sale is live from now until 6pm BST UK time on the afternoon of July 10.
Unfortunately, however, the Steam Summer Sale is proving almost too popular, as thousands of fans complain about not being able to access the wishlist function.
Indeed, independent website Down Detector has received thousands of reports that Steam isn’t working.
The outage tracker monitors social mentions around certain topics to detect when services go down across the world.
The Down Detector outage map shows that the Steam issues are affecting users in the UK and Europe.
While customers are able to access the Steam homepage and see a selection of discounts available in the sale, most people can’t access the wishlist function.
Multiple customers have taken to social media to complain about the outage, which has been active for more than an hour.
“Why can I just not load my steam wishlist,” one fan writes.
Another post reads: “STEAM steam kindly please load my wishlist…. if you want my money during this sale don’t let your app crash.”
Steam Support is yet to acknowledge the issue, so fingers crossed it will be fixed shortly.
While the wishlist function is down, fans are getting a taste of the sale by visiting the homepage.
Hogwarts Legacy is reduced to just £12.49, Forza Horizon 5 costs £24.99 and Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth is down to £38.99.
There are some excellent deep discounts, with multiple games reduced to just a few pounds each.
This includes Little Nightmares 2 for £2.49, Crash N Sane Trilogy is £3.49 and Blasphemous is just £1.99.
