The Saudi Arabia Masters gets underway today with snooker’s biggest stars waiting to learn who they will play in the latter rounds. Many of the world’s best players do not enter until at least the second round in Jeddah, but there are still some enticing clashes to be played in the meantime.

Ronnie O’Sullivan, Zhao Xintong and Judd Trump are not involved until the fifth round, which begins next Tuesday. However, today will see the reunion of two of snooker’s biggest stars from years gone by. Former world champion Ken Doherty meets ex-world No. 2 Jimmy White in the first round. Express Sport will be providing updates on all the best action from the day.
