A small plane flipped over while trying to land at a Massachusetts airport on Thursday — and the pilot miraculously only suffered minor injuries, according to authorities and reports.

The Bearhawk LSA-8X turned on its head after landing at Cape Cod Gateway Airport in Hyannis around 3:30 p.m., according to the Federal Aviation Administration.

Several cops rushed to the scene and found the private aircraft — and its one pilot — upside down on the south side of runway 24, the Barnstable Police Department said.

The Hyannis Fire Department evaluated the pilot, who suffered only minor injuries in the crash, WHDH reported.

Photos showed firefighters crowding the silver plane, which appeared remarkably undamaged.

The experimental aircraft’s tumble caused a small fuel leak that seeped into the nearby grass and forced the airport to shutter operations for nearly an hour, the outlet reported.

The National Transportation Safety Board and the FAA will investigate the cause of the crash, authorities said.
