As part of the official Royal Rota, the Daily Express’s Royal Editor, Emily Ferguson, will be bringing readers all the latest news from Prince William’s trip to South Africa.
The Prince of Wales will, among other engagements, represent the royals at the Earthshot Prize Awards, with this year’s show aiming to go “above and beyond” anything that has been done before.
But not only will he be hard at work — this will be the first major tour William has undertaken without his wife, Kate, Princess of Wales, as she stays home with their three children and continues her recovery from cancer.
Experts have said the fact that William is heading off on his own is an “encouraging” sign that Kate is well enough to look after herself and the children without William’s help.
