Amazon has slashed the price of a vacuum cleaner that some customers have compared to similar models from Dyson and Shark. The Ultenic U20 Cordless Vacuum Cleaner, usually priced at £239.99, is currently available for just £189.99. Describing it as a “lovely vacuum with good suction”, one customer said: “I have always had a Dyson or Shark. But this is a great alternative, and to be honest, I think it is better than my Shark one.”
Another person added: “Having previously had a Shark cordless vacuum, I was looking to replace like for like. However, having read all the positive reviews on the Ultenic U20, I decided to go for it. The Ultenic arrived the next day and was super easy to put together. It’s lightweight with a decent-sized dust bin that’s really easy to empty and clean.”
The cordless vacuum has a brushless motor and claims to have noise reduction technology that is 40% quieter than conventional models. It has four different brushes, including stiff bristles for collecting carpet hair, V-shaped silicone flaps for deeper cleaning, soft bristles for capturing fine dust particles, and durable nylon designed to remove pet hair and prevent tangling.
The vacuum cleaner also has an extendable arm that can reach difficult areas, such as under low furniture. The floor brush is equipped with an integrated green light to expose hidden dust, reports The Mirror.
Another customer expressed their delight, stating they were “very pleased with it.” They added: “To try it out, I started vacuuming the house (I had already done it the day before) and couldn’t believe how much dust, etc. it picked up. The lights on it let you see where the dust is.”
They continued: “Coped very well with picking up pet hair and did not get tangled in brush.”
However, not all feedback was glowing, as some customers encountered issues with suction power. One buyer remarked: “Very lightweight and easy to set up. Battery life is accurately described. However, it is not a particularly powerful suction vacuum cleaner. You need to run over the same area several times to get a suitable clean.”
