A Tesla ploughed into a crowd on a busy London street, leaving seven people hospitalised. Footage of the aftermath of the incident showed a wrecked white car and several pedestrians lying on the ground. The incident occurred on Sunday. Three ambulances, a trauma team and a fire engine were dispatched to the scene outside a Sainsbury’s Local supermarket in Stepney Green following the incident, which is understood to have left two people in need of urgent care. A London Ambulance Service spokesman said: “We were called at 5.26pm on Sunday to reports of a road traffic collision in Mile End Road, E1. We sent a number of resources to the scene including three ambulance crews. We also dispatched a trauma team in a car from London’s Air Ambulance. The first paramedic arrived in less than seven minutes.”
