DENVER — Sean Manaea is completely at a loss to explain his free fall.
“I feel like I am doing the right things, but I don’t know,” the Mets left-hander told The Post before his team’s 6-2 loss to the Rockies on Thursday. “I really don’t know. Yeah, I really don’t have an answer.”
Manaea’s latest rough outing occurred a day earlier, when he was inserted to mop up in the ninth inning against the Rockies and recorded only one out before he was removed.
Manaea allowed one run on three hits and hit a batter, departing with the bases loaded.
