Mo Money Mo Problems? Not for Diddy.
Disgraced music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs is reportedly living high and large inside the Fort Dix federal prison in New Jersey — with access to a cell phone, booze and people catering to his every need, NBC News reported.
While he’s serving a 50-month sentence for prostitution-related offenses, Combs, 56, spends thousands of dollars a month to bring his pampered lifestyle to the Garden State lockup, according to four men who spent time in the same unit as the former hip hop producer, speaking to the outlet on the condition of anonymity.
“This is not some normal s–t you see in jail. This is some rich s–t,” one of the men said. “It looks crazy, but again, it’s Diddy.”
According to the sources, the “Bad Boy for Life” rapper has men at the low-security prison who cook and clean for him, make his bed and do his laundry, as well as someone who gives him Chinese-style massages, NBC reported.
Combs also uses contraband cellphones to scroll through Instagram and look at nude and sexually explicit photos that an old girlfriend sends him while he’s cut off from the outside world at the all-men federal facility, multiple sources told the outlet.
He’s even got his hands on a “jailbroken” tablet which he uses to watch movies and documentaries — including the Netflix docuseries “Sean Combs: The Reckoning,” produced by his longtime rival 50 Cent, two sources said.
The disgraced mogul has forked out cash for other inmates’ prescription Remeron medication — known as “rem-roms” in prison, the sources said.
The medication is prescribed to inmates suffering from depression and anxiety — but it’s also bought and sold on the prison’s robust black market, the sources added.
“You can pretty much get anything except a key to the front door and a female,” one of the anonymous inmates said.
On the weekends, Combs is known to raid a secret stash of premium liquor smuggled in by guards and shared with a tight group of fellow inmates, the station reported.
“Hell yeah, I drank with him,” one inmate recalled of drinking Hennessy with Combs.
To keep up his lavish lifestyle in the low-security clink, the former billionaire has money flowing from people outside of prison to commissary accounts belonging to inmates who provide services for him, the sources told the outlet.
One of the men paid by “Diddy” cleans the toilet and shower areas before he’d use them, the sources said.
Others would secretly cook special meals for Combs using a makeshift heating element submerged in water — including curry chicken, pizza and empanadas.
“After a while, I got tired of cooking,” one man who described preparing meals for Combs and other inmates told NBC. “He started going to the Jamaicans.”
Meanwhile, other inmates simply hold onto the convicted rapper’s phone and fan mail for him.
“It’s so much that he gets,” one of the sources said. “He doesn’t have room for it.”
“Puff Daddy” was convicted on two counts of transportation for prostitution in July 2025, but found not guilty on two counts of sex trafficking by force, fraud or coercion and on racketeering conspiracy.
Combs’ attorneys pushed for the rap mogul, who has a documented history of heavy substance use and addiction, to be sent to Fort Dix prison because of its highly sought-after drug treatment program, which often leads to a reduction of an inmate’s prison term, NBC reported.
He entered the months-long program upon arriving at the New Jersey prison, but sources said it took little time for Combs to get his hands on a phone and alcohol — as well as growing the number of inmates on his payroll.
“Pretty much the day he arrived, the party started,” one of the sources told the outlet.
Combs was sent to solitary confinement in July after getting into a brawl with another inmate and was later kicked out of the drug treatment program, according to the sources.
But after getting out of isolation, the Grammy winner went straight back to his lavish lifestyle with a team of inmates catering to him — something only wealth can buy in prison.
“He’s a billionaire. People are in awe of him,” one of the sources said. “Money is power, especially behind bars.”
Although “Diddy” was first declared a billionaire by hip-hop wealth expert Zack O’Malley Greenburg in 2022, his net worth is believed to have crumbled over the years to the ballpark figure of $300 million to $400 million.
In response to NBC’s reporting on Combs’ ritzy prison lifestyle, the rapper’s spokesperson said in a statement to the outlet: “The continued scrutiny of every mundane detail of Sean Combs’s life in prison has reached the point where the media characterizes ordinary prison life as news.”
“The only real news is that Sean continues to serve his sentence while awaiting the court’s decision on his appeal.”
News of Combs’ luxe life behind bars comes just hours after Page Six reported he is once again closer to life after lockup.
According to Federal Bureau of Prisons records viewed by Page Six, the embattled music mogul’s release date from FCI Fort Dix now falls on Jan. 21, 2028. TMZ was the first to report the news on Tuesday.
The disgraced rapper’s release date has been brought up and pushed back several times since he was locked up — but his original release date was June 2028.
