Scientists release first images of mystery ‘alien’ object | Weird | News

The first X-ray pictures of a mysterious sphere that some people claim was sent to Earth by aliens have been released. The object was reportedly spotted in March zig-zagging through the sky over the town of Buga, Colombia.

It was recovered after landing on the ground and, according to MailOnline, has since been scrutinised by scientists. It is said to feature three layers of a “metal-like” material, 18 “microspheres” and a central nucleus, referred to as a “chip”.

A team of scientists led by Dr Jose Luis Velazquez is said to have found that the object is of “artificial” origin and shows no evidence of welding.

Symbols have also been observed on the surface of the sphere. These have been compared to ancient writing systems, including runes, according to MailOnline.

The team interpreted the symbols to mean: “The origin of birth through union and energy in the cycle of transformation, meeting point of unity, expansion, and consciousness – individual consciousness.”

Researchers interpreted it as a message to humanity, encouraging a shift in consciousness to help Earth amid various environmental crises.

The object itself was said to weigh 4.5lb and was cold to the touch, according to reports.

One of the people who claimed to have recovered the object spoke to Maussan Television, which is hosted by ufologist Jaime Maussan.

David Velez el Potro insisted the object was authentic and said the man who found it was sick for days after touching it.

He added: “When I poured water on it, it started to smoke and the water vaporised instantly.”

Mr Velez el Potro said the Colombian government wanted him to hand the object over but he refused, believing it would not be seen again.

Instead, he handed it to Mr Maussan, who first gained international attention in 2017 when he claimed to have found alien mummies in Peru.

The X-ray images and “findings” come from Mr Maussan and his team of “experts”.

Claims about the Peruvian mummies and the Colombian sphere’s “alien origins” have not been confirmed officially.
