A deal at Very.co.uk means you can buy the iPhone 16 outright, at a much cheaper price. The device will set you back £799 at Apple, but you can get it for £739 – that’s £60 off.
The price drop could be due to the recent release of the 16e (£599), which launched earlier this month. The 16e is the final piece of Apple’s existing iPhone 16 line-up, which includes the standard iPhone 16, 16 Plus,16 Pro, and 16 Pro Max.
The iPhone 16 features Apple Intelligence, a new personal intelligence system that helps you write, express yourself, and get things done effortlessly. Meanwhile, the Camera Control gives you an easier way to quickly access camera tools, like zoom or depth of field. It has a battery life of up to 22 hours and has a screen size of 6.12 inches (when measured rectangularly). However, it doesn’t come with a Power Adapter, so this will need to be bought secretly.
Anyone who buys the Apple device from Very will also get three months of Apple TV+ for free.
It’s a flagship device, and well recommened among tech experts, and a look at shoppers comments share why it’s a sought after device. One shopper said: “Husband has had Apple phones for years …this is the best so far. Absolutely amazing. Love it.”
A second said: “I purchased an iPhone 16, and it came earlier than expected. So far, the quality of the phone has been impressive.” While a third said: “Good phone, battery a lot better than my iPhone 13. I’m happy I got it when it was on offer for £720.”
A fourth was pleased but did highlight that they had issues with the battery life. They said: “Maybe I’m a little biased. I always have iPhones, and this is another upgrade. As usual, I can’t fault the hardware yet. The battery is going flat slightly quicker than I would like.
“Although I am only charging it to 80% to try and extend the life of the battery. All in all it is a good package.”
If you’re on the lookout for something cheaper, then the new iPhone 16e is now available to pre-order from EE, Three Mobile, Amazon, Mobiles.co.uk, and due to go on sale in UK stores tomorrow, Friday, February 28.
