Sarah Ferguson has made a rare comment about “finding strength” as she speaks of fears over the future with her two daughters.

The 65-year-old is mum to Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie. Through Beatrice and Eugenie, Sarah is a doting grandmother to five little ones, including Beatrice’s new baby girl, Athena.

To mark World Cancer Day on February 4, Sarah – who was previously married to Prince Andrew – promoted Zoul app’s guided meditation for “stress relief, rejuvenation, and self-care”. In the promotion, Sarah described it as a “balm to your mind.”

Speaking of her children and grandchildren, Sarah expressed her fears over not being able to see them all grow up.

She said: “I was diagnosed with breast cancer and then I was diagnosed with malignant melanoma. I was trying to get my head around exactly whether I was going to see my grandchildren, whether I was going to see my children and this is why I am so delighted to have found Zoul.”

As reported by HELLO!, the royal added: “My father died of melanoma and my best friend died of melanoma and I had to use all my strength, mental awareness and I really had to go within to find the strength.”

Taking to social media, Sarah has an influx of support from royal fans. One fan commented: “You’re so brave. Thank you for sharing this with us.”

Another wrote: “We love you Sarah. Please don’t ever stop being an inspiration.” A third fan shared: “You are so special and so strong!!! Such an incredible example for us all!! [red-heart emoji].”

Following the announcement of Athena’s birth last month, Sarah shared a sweet post on X. She wrote: ” “Overflowing with love and joy to be able to welcome Athena Elizabeth Rose into the world. She is already so adored and I’m incredibly blessed to be a Granny once again. So proud of Edo, Beatrice and the rest of my little 5-a-side team.”
