Sarah Ferguson shares cancer update that is 'best news' she could have hoped for

Sarah Ferguson has shared a cancer update that is “best news” she could have hoped for.

The Duchess of York, who was diagnosed with skin cancer just after Christmas, has revealed that there appears to be no spread of her skin cancer after facing further surgery.

Sarah received the devastating blow to her health in January, her second cancer diagnosis in the space of one year.

The 65-year-old had previously shared that she had been diagnosed with breast cancer last year.

After her skin cancer diagnosis earlier this year, the Mail has reported that Sarah has undergone further surgery to examine the area around the mole that was found to be malignant – as well as her lymph nodes.

A friend of Sarah’s said that she has now learnt that these are all “free of cancer” and doctors believe that the cancer has not spread.

Whilst she will undergo 12-week check-ups, the news is said to be the “best possible outcome that she could have hoped for”.
