Many spring sales may be over, but now we’re straight into the Easter sales, and we’ve spotted a mega giveaway to shoppers buying a new smartphone. Anyone looking to upgrade to a newer model may want to check out the latest offer from Currys-owned retailer Mobiles.co.uk, which is giving away a variety of tech bundles worth hundreds of pounds. Throughout the Easter sale, shoppers picking up a Samsung Galaxy S25 will receive free Galaxy Buds3 Pro, a Galaxy Watch 7, a phone case and a 45W fast charger – worth a combined £578. The deal isn’t around for long though and will expire on Tuesday, April 22. This particular bundle comes with the Galaxy S25 on Vodafone’s 200GB, £40 per month plan, which has a £160 upfront cost. This 24-month contract comes with the S25 512GB model, available in a choice of four colours: Icy Blue, Mint, Navy and Silver Shadow.
It’s worth noting that Vodafone is just one of the many companies that increases its prices every year as inflation rises. It has already confirmed that this £40 plan will rise to £41.80 from April 1, 2026. Mobiles.co.uk says the total ownership cost over the life of the plan comes to £1,141.60, £182 more than buying the phone outright for £959 from Amazon, but keep in mind this doesn’t include any data or freebies. For more contract options, Sky Mobile stocks the 128GB and 256GB Galaxy 25 from £26.
These must also be paired with a Sky data plan, which range from £0 for 100MB to £20 for unlimited. Sky’s 36-month contracts may be longer than Vodafone, but members are able to swap to a new phone after 24 months at no extra cost.
Mobiles.co.uk stocks several different options for shoppers looking to keep costs down, including the Galaxy S24 on Vodafone’s 100GB, £26 per month £80 upfront contract. Those opting for this 24-month contract can claim a free Galaxy Buds FE and Galaxy Fit3 worth £153 from Samsung within 30 days of purchase.
But Google is launching an even more affordable option on April 10 with the release of the new Pixel 9a. Mobiles.co.uk is now taking pre-orders for the device at £14.99 per month and £129 upfront on iD Mobile’s 100GB contract, which also comes with a free set of Google Buds A-Series worth £109.99.
Thousands of customers have been singing the praises of Mobiles.co.uk on Trustpilot, where one five-star review says: “Highly recommended. Very quick and easy process, everything on the website was clear and the choices offered were very extensive. Online tracking kept me well-informed of how the order was progressing and the phone arrived as promised the following morning.”
Another said: “Amazing faultless service. Got my desired phone at a price cheaper than other retailers were selling and still on a 24-month contract. Amazing really considering others are offering 36-month contracts to keep the price down.”
Others have had a mixed experience, as this customer said: “Requested my number to be changed which never did and had to phone ID Mobile to put in a new request. The simplest of things so giving three stars. Rest of the service was good.”
