Saints quarterback Tyler Shough will face the Giants on Sunday with two broken bones in his non-throwing hand.

Shough suffered the injuries to his left hand in a Monday Night Football loss to the Falcons on Oct.5, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

Shough was a full participant in practice this week and is not listed on the Saints’ official injury report for Sunday’s game, but he played last week against the Vikings with two fingers taped together and a protective glove over his hand, the report stated.

He handed off the ball against the Vikings with his right hand and “will continue to do the same so long as the breaks in his left hand are an issue,” Schefter wrote.

Photos from Sunday’s warmups show Shough again earing a glove on his left hand, with tape surrounding his pinkie and ring fingers.

The 2025 second-round pick has thrown for 1,299 yards with nine touchdowns and five interceptions in five games, but he was held to 96 passing yards with two picks in last week’s 23-13 loss to Minnesota.

Shough agreed with Saints owner Gayle Benson’s criticism this week stating the team’s 1-4 start is “not acceptable,” but the second-year QB added that he believes they “are going to have a really good chance to go on a run here.”

The Saints will face the Steelers next week in Paris ahead of their Week 7 bye.
