Ryan Gosling is having a moment — and Hollywood can’t get enough.
Fresh off the stratospheric success of his sci-fi smash Project Hail Mary, the Oscar-nominated heartthrob is already lining up his next big swing. Insiders say Gosling is circling a top-secret Universal Pictures flick from the wildly inventive duo Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert — better known as Daniels, the mad geniuses behind Everything Everywhere All at Once.
The studio is keeping the details a secret but we do know cameras are set to roll this summer in LA.
The buzz has been building for months. After Daniels’ Oscar sweep back in 2023, the pair quietly cooked up this mystery project, which Universal dated for a November 19, 2027 release. The film will reportedly feature a young ensemble — but the studio wanted a heavyweight to lead the charge according to Deadline.
“Project Hail Mary” just blasted off with a jaw-dropping $141 million global debut, including $80 million stateside — the biggest non-sequel March opening ever. It’s already rocketed past $100 million domestically and is racking up rave reviews, landing as Gosling’s highest-rated film yet.
And he’s not leaving space anytime soon. Gosling is also set to headline Star Wars: Starfighter, slated to hit theaters May 28, 2027.
