Russia should use tactical nuclear weapons to “pave the way” for its troops into Kyiv and take the Ukrainian capital “in just three days”, a Russian propagandist and Putin mouthpiece has said. The chilling nuclear warning emerged during the Russian radio show “Full Contact”, featuring host Vladimir Solovyov and weatherman Evgeny Tishkovets.”The art of war is not about saving civilians but about achieving goals that have been set,” the Russian state TV presenter said.
“Of course, we can use a firestorm, using various names and types of terrible weapons, the likes of which Ukraine is not even close to having, to secure the passage of our ground forces over scorched Earth.” During the radio show, Mr Solovyov expressed no concern about the loss of Russian troops or how quickly they would progress. “Our losses will be minimal. The land won’t be suitable for future habitation, but we’ll be able to advance very quickly,” he added. “Is it possible to take Kyiv in three days? Of course! “But Kyiv will be erased off the face of the Earth, and a flag will be standing there.
“Tactical nuclear weapons can pave the way for our troops very quickly and very effectively,” the warmonger, who has previously been sanctioned by both the UK and the EU for promoting disinformation, added. “After this, the West will start screaming.”
He went on to brag that a tactic such as this is not written in military textbooks because the objections of the West “cannot be heard inside a tank”, which he said can “easily pass through contaminated areas” as “all of our equipment was built for this.”
Mr Solovyov told listeners that the West would not respond by attacking Russia with nuclear weapons, claiming, “Will the West try to strike us with nuclear weapons? Of course not. The West knows all too well that it’s impossible.”
He continued: “Can our military achieve this goal? Of course. Do they know how to do it? They unquestionably do. We should realise that victors write the book of history.
“Humanitarian traditions of the ones who were defeated not once, nowhere, have served as a justification of those nations that ceased to exist. We have to win.”
Having given his chilling rant, the Putin mouthpiece then proceeded to discuss the weather.
However, even weatherman Evgeny Tishkovets echoed Mr Solovyov’s fear-inducing words, calling for Putin’s army to use its “entire arsenal of forces and means”.
“We should certainly pull out our main trump card to reduce our enemy to the state of insects so that for another thousand years they won’t be able to look towards the East with a beastly snarl or encroach upon sacred Russian land,” he added.
