Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim has insisted the Red Devils will be limited in the transfer window this summer but is adamant the club have a “clear picture” of what they want to achieve. The 13-time Premier League champions endured a dismal 2024/25 campaign as they finished just three places above the relegation zone.

Amorim and his United squad jetted off to Asia for a summer tour following the conclusion of the Premier League season. On Wednesday, they were defeated 1-0 by an ASEAN All-Stars team in Malaysia as they were booed off the pitch. But on Friday, they got back to winning ways as they defeated the Hong Kong national team at the Hong Kong Stadium.

“We are a bit limited [in the transfer market] and we can’t do it all in one summer. But there is a clear picture for what we want,” Amorim explained following the conclusion of United’s post-season tour.
