Royal insider’s unusual prediction about George, Charlotte and Louis | Royal | News

Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis are only young, but they are very well-loved by members of the public. While their priority at the moment is school, with all three of Prince William and Princess Kate’s children attending Lambrook School in Berkshire, they will one day have more of a presence on the royal stage.

As a future King, George, 12, will most likely be supported by Charlotte, 10, and Louis, seven, in his future work for the monarchy. However, it is believed this could look very different to what the Firm is like now.

While Prince William, who is first-in-line to the throne, has already said change is on his agenda, royal insider Grant Harrold seems to think that there will be even more change when William’s three children carry out royal duties.

Speaking to online learning platform Study Dog, Harrold – who was a royal butler to King Charles from 2004 to 2011 – said that he thinks the royal children could have more on their royal schedules than simply attending engagements.

Explaining this, the former royal staffer said he thinks the children will have some very different responsibilities, which could include “brand endorsements” and a more “influencer role”.

This is something the working royals do not currently do.

The former butler also said that the children may have higher workloads when they work for the Firm as there is likely to be less working royals, especially as the monarchy has been “slimmed down” over the last few years.

Harrold said: “There will be a high demand on the children, because their workload will be increased. But the Royal Family may not be carrying out quite the same responsibilities by the time they are old enough.

“There may be brand endorsements or more support for organisations, with them being seen as celebrities or even taking on that influencer role.

“It might not be the same as old-fashioned visits with cutting ribbons and visiting important figures. I’m sure that will still be part of it, but I think it will evolve a lot, and I think their roles will be quite full on for them because it will be a different era of the Royal Family and a bit unpredictable.”

George, Charlotte and Louis are not set to be working royals for some time, with William and Princess Kate wanting their children to have a full education and as ordinary an upbringing as possible.
