Royal fans spot Prince Harry's pal with Zara Tindall – 'Getting lonely in Montecito'

Both Nacho and Delfina were given a special mention in the book, with Harry thanking them for their “unwavering friendship and support”.

The two keen polo players have known each other even before the Sussexes moved to Montecito, with Nacho saying of Harry’s relationship with Meghan in 2017: “I can say I’m very happy for him. If he’s happy, I’m happy. He’s a guy I like very much and he deserves the best.”

The Argentinian and the Duke have often played in polo matches together for charity, with Delfina and Meghan also becoming close after meeting up to watch their husbands’ games.

In June 2022 Delfina shared a photo of herself and Meghan with the caption: “M, looking forward to many more of these times with you and H. Getting to spend time together over these two months was so special. I wish everyone knew you the way you are.”

The following year Zara and Delfina were spotted hugging each other in Australia after playing on opposite teams during a polo match.

Although Harry may be estranged from most of his family members, it seems him and his cousin Zara remain close, as a body language expert has explained.

Judi James told Express.co.uk: “Zara and Harry have always had a very strong relationship, with their non-verbal displays defining friendship as well as family bonds.

“We saw several ‘trio’ poses back in the day, with Zara and Mike celebrating their sporting connections and culture together and Mike showing admiration for Harry’s work on the Invictus Games, while Harry was clearly in awe of Mike’s rugby career.

“The body language ‘fit’ between Zara and Mike always looked perfect. Zara is a consummate hugger and uses authentic and spontaneous displays of affection, while Harry has complained at length about how he lacked sufficient hugs from his own father after his mother died.”
