Prince George may only be 11-years-old, but as a future King, he has a lot of public attention on him. While he currently only steps out on the royal stage a few times a year, spending the rest of the time living a life not too dissimilar from others his age, he is very loved by royal fans.
Over the years, many people have compared Prince George to his father when it comes to the looks department, however now fans are convinced he looks a lot like another relative. While some people see a lot of the Windsor genes in the young prince, fans also think George has a dash of Spencer genes too from his late grandmother Princess Diana’s family.
This was the view put forward by fans this week after Diana’s brother Earl Charles Spencer appeared on Thursday’s episode of Loose Men, with many believing George looks just like his father’s uncle.
One fan wrote on Instagram: “Prince George looks so like him.”
Another commented: “The eyes.”
This is not the first time George has been compared to his great uncle, with many fans having taken to X within the last few weeks airing the same view after George appeared at VE Day celebrations.
One person wrote: “Prince George looks like Diana’s brother, his Great Uncle Charles Spencer.”
Another said: “The Spencer genes are strong in Prince George. I’ve always thought he had a strong resemblance to Charles Spencer.”
A third wrote: “Prince George looks so like his Uncle, Charles Spencer. His Spencer genes are definitely showing!”
It is not known how close George is with the Spencer family, however it is believed his father Prince William, 42, still speaks to his late mother’s family.
Prince Harry is also still believed to be close with the Spencer family, having reportedly stayed with his uncle Charles Spencer on some of his visits to the UK.
