Prince Harry once gave a very blunt nine-word response regarding his brother, Prince William, confronting him on his claims against the royals.
The Duke of Sussex quit the working Royal Family in 2020 and moved to the US, after which he made a string of claims about his life within the Firm through a series of interviews, his Netflix documentary with the Duchess of Sussex, Harry & Meghan, and his memoir Spare.
While promoting Spare ahead of its release in January 2023, Harry spoke to ITV’s Tom Bradby, where he clarified that he “loves” his father, King Charles and brother, Prince William and that he would “to have my brother back,” however, he criticised the Firm’s handling of the feud.
Meanwhile, Mr Brady asked the duke about William’s reaction to Spare, saying: “Wouldn’t your brother say to you, ‘Harry, how could you do this to me after everything we went through?’ Wouldn’t that be what he would say?”
Harry responded: “He would probably say all sorts of different things”. At the time, Buckingham Palace and Kensington Palace declined to comment.
