Prince Harry and Meghan have appeared to anger sports fans in the US after being given the best seats in the house for a major baseball game. Social media users were quick to pour scorn on the Duke and Duchess of Sussex after the pair were spotted in the front row on Tuesday night for an LA Dodgers fixture in the World Series.
Meghan, 44, and Harry, 41, were focused on by the cameras from Fox TV which showed the couple seated in front of basketball icon Magic Johnson and baseball legend Sandy Koufax. It’s reported the seats occupied by the Sussexes on Tuesday in Los Angeles would have cost tens of thousands of dollars. Magic Johnson is part-owner of the LA Dodgers and Harry and Meghan were kitted out in matching baseball caps sporting the team’s logo.
But writing on social media, one fan wrote: “Prince Harry and his wife sitting IN FRONT of Sandy Koufax? Un-fn-real. #WorldSeries #.” Another added: “Why the hell are they in front of Sandy?”, while someone else added rather abruptly: “They need to leave.”
