Meghan Markle is “desperate” for the endorsement of a major brand as she and Prince Harry look to their further career prospects, a royal author has said.
Many commentators and sources close to the couple have claimed the Sussexes are now looking to rebrand themselves so that they are not so reliant on their royal image. One expert suggested Meghan has her eyes on one brand in particular – but it is not yet working out for the Duchess.
Royal author Tom Bower said: “Meghan has made huge efforts. She does look amazingly good at the moment, and is clearly working hard at it. I think she is looking desperately for an endorsement with something like Dior, and that’s been a disappointment as she hasn’t landed one contract.”
But an insider at Dior dismissed the idea, telling the Telegraph: “The Duchess of Sussex is not in talks with Dior. There is no truth to the claims that she will partner with the French fashion house.”
