Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have been branded as “massive narcissists” who spend their time “trashing the Royal Family” since their move to America, claims a business thought leader.
Since quitting royal duties in 2020 and eventually relocating to Montecito, California, where the couple reside with their two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet – the two have conducted multiple media deals.
Harry and Meghan sat down with TV host Oprah Winfrey for an explosive TV interview in 2021, and Harry has since released a bombshell memoir, Spare, in January 2023.
Nile Gardiner, director of the Margaret Thatcher Center for Freedom at The Heritage Foundation, told GB News: “Most Americans really admire the Royal Family. The Queen was hugely popular with Americans, and they don’t take kindly to attacks on the Royal Family.”
Meghan famously claimed that Princess Kate “made her cry” in the lead-up to her wedding, and alleged that an unnamed member of the Royal Family raised “concerns” over Prince Archie’s skin colour.
Following the interview, Prince Harry later denied that he and Meghan accused a member of the royal family of racism in an ITV interview.
Nile added: “All these attacks from Harry and Meghan, they’ve gone down very badly in the United States. They have alienated most Americans.”
