A royal expert claimed there is a simple reason behind Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet making more appearances online recently. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s two children have featured prominently on their mother’s Instagram in recent weeks.
Archie and Lilibet’s last appearance came last Monday, when Meghan Markle uploaded a new photo of her with them on both her own and her brand, As Ever’s official Instagram accounts. Archie was seen hugging his mum’s leg, wearing a pair of grey jeans, a dark grey jumper and funky socks with slip-on trainers. Meanwhile, Lilibet looked adorable barefoot, wearing an adorable grey jumper and a mini straw hat as Meghan held her onto her arm.
Now a royal expert has suggested that the reason why they are slowly starting to appear more on social media could be down to Meghan’s own realisation.
Royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams claimed that the Duchess has realised there will be “more interest” when her children are involved and that she can utilise that to further boost her various endeavours.
He told GB News: “This is a pivotal period for the Sussexes, she knows the Netflix contract is almost certainly going to be renewed in some form.
“There is the second season coming up and they are collaborating with As Ever.
“Clearly, the children mean extra interest, she has the right to do what she likes as Archie and Lili are hers and Harry’s.
“They are appearing more often and it is around the time they need to get more publicity.
“The whole thing shows that she is a force to be reckoned with and she knows that if the children appear there will be even more interest.”
Meanwhile, royal fans were delighted with Archie and Lilibet’s latest snap.
Users online commented on how much the two children have grown and noted on their red hair, with one saying on X: “One user said on X: “Meghan is outnumbered by gingers!!! Princess Lilibet’s hair is even redder than Prince Archie’s hair which is very red itself! In Prince Harry’s words ‘The Spencer gene is strong’.”
A second one agreed: “The Spencer genes win again.” A third one wrote: “Red hair gene reigns supreme!!!”
