A royal couple have secretly welcomed their fourth child recently, having celebrated his baptism this week. Prince François d’Orléans, the Count of Dreux, and Princess Theresa, have named their youngest child Prince Nicholas. This exciting news for the French royals was revealed this week by the Prince’s brother Prince Charles-Philippe d’Orléans, who attended the baptism of his nephew at Schönach Castle, Bavaria. He shared a picture of his nephew, who is the great-great-great-great-grandson of the last king of France Louis-Philippe I, and the family on Instagram.
He wrote: “Baptism of our dear nephew, Prince Nicholas, son of Prince François and Princess Theresa, a bright day, full of grace, fervor and shared emotion with the family, at Schönach Castle, Bavaria.”
The prince continued: “Welcome to the big family of God’s children, dear Nicholas. May the love of God be with you all your life.”
The photograph has sent royal fans in France into a frenzy, with many sending their best wishes.
One fan commented on the Instagram post: “Congratulations to Nicholas, he’s magnificent, and so are you all.”

Although France does not currently have a monarchy, they are still known as prince and princesses.
