A royal couple are expecting their first baby together soon, it has been revealed. On Monday, Prince Mateen Abdul of Brunei took to social media to confirm that he and his wife Anisha Rosnah are expecting their first child together.
Prince Manteen , the son of The Sultan of Brunei, posted a black-and-white photograph of the couple to celebrate the happy news. The 34-year-old prince and his wife, 30, can be seen in the photograph wearing white and holding hands.
The post was captioned: “And then there were 3.”
The couple did not confirm on the post when their baby is due. The post did also not confirm whether their baby was a boy or a girl.
The happy news comes just shy of two years since the couple’s impressive 10-day wedding in Brunei’s capital Bandar Seri Begawan.
The pair are set to celebrate their second wedding anniversary in January.
The prince and his wife, who has a silk garment company and bespoke travel agency, are thought to have started dating in 2018; however, they kept their relationship very private.
The prince visits the UK often and is believed to be fond of the country, having lived in London previously to study international politics at King’s College London.
He also completed his masters from the School of Oriental and African Studies at the University of London.
As reported by Hello!, before this the prince had graduated from the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst in 2011.
