Royal butler reveals telltale sign Prince Harry and Prince William's relationship can heal

Prince Harry and Prince William’s fraught relationship never goes unnoticed – and speculation often arises over if and when the brothers will put their differences aside. But one former royal butler believes there is one big step that could pave the way for their reconciliation.

In a recently televised interview with Good Morning America, Prince Harry confirmed he had many planned visits to the UK in 2024, but a crucial step before any return is to fix the rift with his brother, Prince William, claims the ex-butler claimed.

Grant Harrold believes Prince William is key to any potential permanent return to the UK for Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle. As reported in GB News, Grant told the New York Post: “It’s difficult to say given everything that has gone on.

“The trust that has been broken down and whether they could return as full-time royals, but I’ve always said if Harry did return to the UK, it is possible.”

Ultimately, a situation where Harry returns as a full-time royal would arguably need the approval from both the King and Prince William. The former butler understood that over the years so much had gone on and “trust had broken down” but it needs to be “sorted out”.

Prince William is putting his immediate family and their wellbeing above all else as he seeks to protect them from any more conflict with the Sussexes, according to a royal commentator.

William and Prince Harry once had a close bond but grew gradually further apart after Harry married Meghan Markle and moved to California, as detailed in Spare.

It has been a difficult start to 2024 for William, as his wife Princess Kate has undergone major abdominal surgery and is continuing to recover at home.

With King Charles also taking a back seat following his recent cancer diagnosis, many have speculated that William may be stepping up his royal responsibilities. But according to reports, making his family and three children, Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, eight, and Prince Louis, five, remains his “number one priority”.
