Shoppers are snapping up a pair of Roman trousers that are described as ‘a basic essential for every wardrobe’. They could be perfect for work, or they can be dressed up for a night out, making them a great addition this season.
The Full Length Elastic Waist Stretch Trousers are currently available for £26 and they come in three colours – black, dark grey and navy blue – and sizes 10 to 22. They are made with just the right amount of stretch for a comfortable and flattering fit, the site says.

The listing says these high waist, straight leg trousers are perfect for ‘every day at work, school and the office’.
At Next, there are these Friends Like These Black Sculpting Stretch Straight Leg Trousers for £27, which come in regular and tall fits, and sizes 8 to 22 – although some are currently out of stock. These are made from 77% viscose, 20% nylon and 3% elastane, and one shopper described them as ‘lovely trousers’.
