One of Robert Redford’s most legendary films is presently streaming on Disney+.
The Hollywood legend and pioneer of the Sundance Film Festival has been confirmed to have passed away peacefully in his sleep on Tuesday morning at his Utah residence.
Publicist Cindi Berger has stated, via Deadline: “Robert Redford passed away on September 16, 2025, at his home at Sundance in the mountains of Utah, the place he loved, surrounded by those he loved.
“He will be missed greatly. The family requests privacy.”
The iconic cinema star was 89 years old, reports the Mirror.
