The experts recommend filling a plastic bag with white vinegar and securing it around the shower head, ensuring the entire shower head is fully submerged in the vinegar.
According to SlotsUp: “Vinegar is great for loosening limescale, thanks to its mild acidity. By soaking the shower head for an hour, you’re letting the vinegar dissolve the deposits naturally.”
After an hour, the experts suggest removing the bag and scrubbing the shower head with a soft brush or toothbrush to dislodge any remaining limescale.
The experts added: “You’ll see a big difference after even a quick scrub,” they continued. “And if there are stubborn bits left, just repeat the process for an even cleaner finish.”
Once the individual has scrubbed away the limescale, simply rinse the shower head with warm water and reattach it.
