Reform will restore law and order to the streets of broken Britain | Politics | News

The latest polling by Survation at the weekend showed that nearly 50% of voters believe Britain is now lawless.

It’s clear that crime is out of control, and the other parties do not have what it takes to fix the crisis they helped create. Well, we at Reform UK do.

Flanked by former magistrate Sarah Pochin MP and former prosecutor Cllr Laila Cunningham, we made a series of announcements to put criminals on notice.

Under my government, foreign criminals will be deported. Nightingale-style prisons will be built with help from the armed forces. We will require the police to investigate all crimes. And we will take back control of our streets.

One of the key new policies I announced yesterday is on repeat offenders. Just 10% of criminals commit 50% of all crime.

While we believe in rehabilitation, law-abiding members of the public must not be put at risk by these individuals. We will stop the revolving door for criminals who commit multiple offences. More crime will simply mean more time. Under Reform, if you commit more than three serious offences, you could face life imprisonment.

Over the next six weeks, I will travel across the country with the message that only Reform will restore law and order to the streets of broken Britain.

This campaign will expose the dismal record of Labour and the Conservatives.

I will focus on how we will tackle petty crime, mobile phone theft, knife crime, county lines, and women’s safety — highlighting the most egregious offences along the way. Watch this space.

Nigel Farage is the leader of Reform UK
