Reform UK has been given a huge boost as a new poll puts Nigel Farage’s party neck and neck with Labour and the Conservatives.
Techne UK reckons that Reform UK is polling at 21 per cent today. Kemi Badenoch’s Tories, meanwhile, are said to be just behind Labour on 26 per cent.
Sir Keir Starmer’s party sits on 27 per cent. Reform UK’s Chairman, Zia Yusuf, issued an update this morning.
He said on X: “Reform membership growth continues to be ballistic. In 2025 we will host more member events than ever. Come join us!
Yesterday Nigel Farage announced that the party has put on a special offer for under 25s to become of member for £10.
He said on X: “Are you under 25? We have just announced a special deal for you to join Reform UK for just £10.
“Come and join the revolution in British politics.”
He added: “I’m so pleased that on TikTok and elsewhere, so many young people are supporting me, supporting Reform.
“They love the optimistic, patriotic message, and hey, you know, with Elon Musk behind us, we’re kind of almost becoming cool.”
The party announced in November that it had attained 100,000 paid up members.
A Reform UK source told Express.co.uk that it is looking forward to next year’s local elections.
They said: “The 2025 local elections – assuming they are not cancelled! – are a huge opportunity for Reform UK to cement our position as a truly national contender for power.
“Of course we’re looking to consolidate our position in the areas we made our breakthrough in the General Election, all of which are currently scheduled to have council elections next year.
“But polling and council by-elections show our message is gaining traction far beyond these. We’re coming for the Tories in the south and we’re coming for Labour in the north.
“We’ve already established hundreds of local branches, and we’re well on the way to covering every constituency. Now we’re rolling out the tools and materials to the branches so they can deliver winning campaigns right across the country.”
