Meghan was seen laughing and cooking up dishes while interacting with her friends. A short clip showed the couple in an intimate scene in a garden, where they embrace.
Now, Pauline Maclaran, professor of marketing and consumer research at Royal Holloway, commented on why the couple might have split up professionally and whether their decision will lead to success.
She told the BBC: “They seem to have separated their brands.
“I think it’s likely to be much more successful because I think the two of them together weren’t really getting any strong recognition.”
The expert noted that the duchess, who stepped down as a senior working royal in 2020, “isn’t drawing on her royal connections” in the new show.
She added that while her new show may not cater to everyone, it will chime with certain target groups, especially in the US.
Ms Maclaran explained: “A lot of the public won’t be interested in this, but I don’t think that’s her aim – I think she’ll be trying to get other mothers like herself, really.”
