This is especially set to be the case next year when the competition is held, as it typically lasts about a week, and Meghan has expressed how she does not like to be apart from her children for too long.

This is why she left the 2025 Invictus Games competition days before Prince Harry, flying home to be with the couple’s children at the family’s Montecito home.

While Meghan has not publicly cited this as a reason why she is never away from home for too long, she made it clear that she doesn’t like being away from her children in her Netflix show “With Love, Meghan”.

In one episode, Queer Eye star Tan France said he gets heartbroken if away from his two young children for more than a couple of days.

Meghan agreed with this, telling him: “Oh I know. The longest I went without being around our kids was almost three weeks. I was…not well.”

It is believed Meghan was referring to September 2022, when she stayed with Prince Harry longer than expected on a UK trip as a result of the death of Queen Elizabeth II in 2022.

Archie and Lilibet were believed to have not been in the UK with their parents, and instead were at home in America at the time.

Meghan is not confirmed to be definitely attending any Invictus Games events in the UK, however it is well-known that she tends to support her husband at the competition, which he set up in 2014 to help wounded ex servicemen and women, regardless of where it is held.
