Goals were hard to come by in the World Cup final in the Meadowlands.
Assume runs will be in short supply in Toronto on Monday.
Tampa’s Nick Martinez is having a career year and is one of many reasons the Rays still sit atop the American League East standings.
Martinez is 8-2 and has allowed four runs in his last 16 innings.
The Jays’ Dylan Cease earned back-to-back wins when he tossed a one-hitter for eight innings at San Francisco.
The Rays have been as ugly as the World Cup trophy lately, losing five in a row, and they’re 21-27 on the road.
We will play $50 on Cease and the Blue Jays (-145, bet365).

They did it!
No, not Spain; the Mets won twice for us in Philly this weekend.
Nolan McLean pitched a two-hitter over six innings, Francisco Lindor went 3-for-3, including a two-run homer, and the Mets drop-kicked the Phillies 6-1.
We are 4-0 since the All-Star break but still down -66 beckenbauers.
