While the Las Vegas Raiders and New Orleans Saints were in a hard-fought battle on the field, and it appears that their fans were going through the same thing. At least the Raiders fans were.
During the game, a video emerged on X from the account @DatKing504 of two Raiders fans fighting in the stands at the Caesars Superdome.
The two fans were both wearing Raiders jerseys. One in white. The other in black.
As they were exchanging blows, they were dangerously standing on the set of stairs at the stadium.
The video started with the fan in white punching the fan in black while he was down on the stair set.
The fan in white would stop throwing blows after another football fan blindsided him from the back, which led to the fan in black having enough time to get back up and land what looked like a haymaker.
Both of them would end up taking a tumble down the stairs a bit, and the video ended with the fan in black on top of the fan in white.
Earlier this week, Raiders head coach Klint Kubiak warned his players about how the Superdome is a hostile environment. Perhaps he should’ve given the Raiders fan base the same message.
The fight between the fans came just before the Raiders had an incredible 35-27 comeback victory against the Saints, where Brock Bowers caught the game-sealing touchdown pass.
During the week, Bowers was unlikely to play in Sunday’s game as he’s been nursing himself back to health after having his meniscus trimmed at the beginning of the season.
Any concerns about Bowers’ health can be put to rest after having an encouraging performance where he had 10 receptions for 116 yards and the lone touchdown.
With the Raiders improving to 3-0, it’s the first time they’ve done so since 2021, which was also the last time they made the playoffs.
