Queens teacher accused of groping 7 special needs high school students: NYPD sources

A perverted high school teacher was arrested for allegedly groping seven special needs students at a Queens high school but was released by a judge, according to officials.

Vamshi Guduru allegedly touched the girls – between 15 and 17 – on their buttocks and breasts at John Bowne High School in Kew Gardens Hills, officials said.

The alleged abuse happened between Monday and Wednesday, according to a criminal complaint against him.

One of the girls said the 36-year-old teacher “caressed her right breast without her consent,” according to the complaint. 

Two of the other girls said he “squeezed” their buttocks without their consent, the complaint reads. Two others said he touched or squeezed their breasts, officials said.

Another girl said Guduru stood very close to her and put his hand over her hand. The seventh girl said he touched her lower back.

The incidents were reported to police on Thursday and the 36-year-old was arrested by NYPD  Warrant Section detectives at his home on Friday morning, the sources said.

Guduru was charged with four counts of forcible touching, and five counts each of endangering the welfare of a child and sexual abuse, according to police.

He was arraigned in front of Judge Sharifa Nasser-Cuellar and was freed on supervised release. There are orders of protection against him for the victims.  

Prosecutors asked for bail, according to a Queens DA spokesperson. 

Guduru’s defense attorney didn’t immediately return a call seeking comment. His next court date is May 4.
