Queen Camilla has gone above and beyond to help where she can while King Charles is at Sandringham resting – and her efforts have not gone unnoticed.
The US-based podcast, Podcast Royal, discussed Camilla and her hard work in their most recent episode, with host Jessica Robinson commenting: “Queen Camilla is truly meeting the moment with grace and dignity.”
She added: “I have to say, she is the right person, at the right time, for this moment, and I am so thankful that the King has her, and they have such an enduring love story.”
Robinson was particularly impressed with Camilla driving six hours in the rain to make it to Salisbury for an evening concert, describing it as the “kind of resilience should be applauded”.
Camilla’s helicopter was grounded due to bad weather and, rather than canceling, she carried on by car.

Her co-host, Rachel Burchfield, responded: “A six-hour car drive is a lot for anyone, she is doing an incredible job, engaging with the public and keeping a positive face during an emotional time for her and her family.”
Burchfield also enjoyed a recent engagement, sharing with listeners: “The Queen invited training dogs and their human representatives at the Medical Alert Assistance Dogs, which is an organization that trains service dogs to help people with critical health needs.
“I just find it fascinating that a dog could be trained to do that, and their senses are that good. Just to think they can truly save lives like that. A fascinating engagement.
“If I were a royal, this is the kind of engagement I’d like to do.”
