Vladimir Putin’s spokesperson, Dmitri Peskov, said that Russia would not renew a month-long moratorium on strikes against Ukraine’s critical infrastructure as hopes for a ceasefire brokered by Donald Trump collapsed. Earlier today, the US Secretary of State Marco Rubio hinted that the US could abandon Russia-Ukraine peace talks after a meeting in Paris on ending the war. He added that Washington may be ready to “move on” if there is no progress on a peace deal in the coming days.
