Puka Nacua did not miss his chance to make a play for Sydney Sweeney or at least show he’s interested in doing so.
The “Euphoria” star revealed what she was looking for in a significant other during an interview with Cosmopolitan on Thursday and the star Rams wide receiver believes he fits the bill.
“Athletic and outgoing and funny. I’m a sporty girl, so someone needs to be able to climb a mountain with me, go skydiving with me,” said Sweeney, who also revealed she has been in a relationship for seven and a half years that she kept private. “And someone who loves their family. I love myself a man…oh, wow, when you print that, you won’t hear the inflection in my voice.”

Nacua, 24, saw the quotes posted on X by Complex’s account and could not help but respond in a quote tweet.
“Love skydiving,” Nacua wrote.
It’s unclear if Sweeney, 28, saw the post, as she was not tagged in it – though a fan did add her in one of the comments along with a fake image of Nacua skydiving in his Rams jersey and helmet.
If anyone has the cachet to shoot his shot at the “Christy” star, it might be Nacua.
He is coming off a monster season for the Rams, who reached the NFC Championship game.
Nacua caught 129 passes for 1,718 yards and 10 touchdowns in 16 games as he and quarterback Matthew Stafford formed one of the most dynamic duos in the NFL.
He earned First-Team All-Pro honors.

The Rams finished 12-5 and went on quite the playoff run, winning road games at the Panthers and Bears before falling, 31-27 to Sam Darnold and the division rival Seahawks to fall a win short of Super Bowl 2026.
It remains to be seen if Nacua will have better luck capturing Sweeney’s attention than he did the Lombardi Trophy.
Earlier this year, Nacua and his ex, Hallie Aiono, welcomed a son, Kingston.
Alonso previously filed court documents in June to determine parental relationship with the receiver.
“Proud of you hal! Welcome king ❤️🩹,” Nacua wrote in the comments of Alonso’s Instagram announcement.
