PS Plus July 2025 free PS4 and PS5 games release date, line-up and last chances

PlayStation Plus subscribers are counting down to the release of the free PS4 and PS5 games for July 2025.

Headlined by loot-based dungeon-crawler Diablo 4, the next batch of PS Plus games have a July 1 release date.

The games will replace the current line-up, which consists of NBA 2K25, Alone in the Dark and Bomb Rush Cyberfunk. The June line-up is worth a whopping £140, so if you haven’t already, then consider this your last chance warning to add the games to your PS Plus library.

The July PS Plus games, meanwhile, couldn’t come at a better time, especially with the new Diablo 4 season about to launch.

Indeed, Diablo 4 Season 9 will be available on July 1, just hours after the release of Diablo 4 on PS Plus.

Titled Sins of the Horadrim, the new season features a whole host of fresh rewards, as well as new boss encounters, spells and Nightmare Dungeons.

In addition to Diablo 4, PlayStation Plus subscribers will be able to download and play 2D fighting game King of Fighters 15.

First released in 2022, the latest King of Fighters features an upgraded visual style with 39 characters and 3-vs-3 team-based action.

Needless to say, there’s also a story mode, as well as cross-platform play for fans of online multiplayer.

The third and final game is indie adventure title Jusant, which is developed by the studio behind Life is Strange.

Unlike Life is Strange, however, Jusant is a climbing game in which players attempt to navigate a huge tower.

Sony explains more: “Jusant is an action-puzzle climbing game and a meditative journey to the top of a tall tower. Challenge yourself at your own pace, explore different paths, and unravel the secrets from a bygone civilisation.

“Master your climbing tools and watch your stamina meter to successfully navigate this mysterious and changing tower.”

Completionists are encouraged to explore alternative paths in order to discover secrets about the mysterious civilisation at the heart of the story.

The July PS Plus games will be available until August 5, when they’ll be replaced by a new selection of PS4 and PS5 titles.
