PlayStation Plus subscribers are counting down to the release of the free PS4 and PS5 games for February 2025.
The next wave of PS Plus Essentials have a February 4 release date and an approximate 11am GMT UK launch time.
While it’s always nice to welcome new games to the line-up, the flipside is that you only have a few hours left to redeem the current batch of PlayStation Plus titles.
This includes live service flop Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. While it’s not the best superhero game on the market, the campaign is definitely worth checking out, so make sure you redeem it before it returns to full price.
The January line-up also consists of open-world racer Need for Speed Hot Pursuit Remastered, as well as 94-rated game The Stanley Parable Ultra Deluxe.
As for the February line-up, the headline release is multiplayer heist-em-up Payday 3.
Sony explains more: “Revel in the thrill of a perfectly planned and executed heist in this high-octane, co-op FPS experience for up to four players online.
“Step out of retirement back into the life of crime in the shoes of the Payday Gang, the envy of their peers and the nightmare of law-enforcement wherever they go.
“Several years after the crew’s reign of terror over Washington DC has ended, they assemble once again to deal with the threat that roused them out of early retirement.”
Payday 3 is joined by fellow shooter High on Life, which was created by the person behind Rick and Morty.
Finally, fans can grab Pac-Man World: Re-Pac, which is a remake of a classic PlayStation platformer.
The game features improved visuals, new gameplay mechanics, a superior user-interface and other modern improvements.
“Pac-Man arrives home on his birthday to find the Ghosts have kidnapped Pac-Man’s family & friends and ruined his party.
“Off to the rescue, Pac-Man sets out to Ghost Island. Dodge Ghosts, solve environmental puzzles, rescue the Pac-Fam, and more in this platforming adventure. Play a collection of 3D mazes in Maze mode, clear Quest mode to unlock the original Pac-Man game in Original mode.”
The February games will be available to redeem from February 4 until March 4, so you have plenty of time.
