Sony is just days away from announcing the PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium games for September 2025.
The next wave of PS Plus Extra and Premium games will be officially unveiled on the afternoon of September 10. Subscribers will be able to download and install the games less than a week later, on September 16.
Without any leaks to speak of at the time of writing, fans have been attempting to predict the PS Plus Extra line-up ahead of the official reveal.
While Sony faces an almost impossible task in matching Hollow Knight Silksong for Xbox Game Pass, fans in the predictions thread are optimistic.
Indeed, according to the latest thread on Reddit, many fans believe a couple of Ubisoft heavyweights could be on the way.
Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, in particular, receives more than a dozen predictions, as fans firmly believe the colourful action game will be added to Extra.
Star Wars Outlaws is also starting to gain steam in the latest predictions thread. The open-world Star Wars game was a little disappointing at launch, but has since received multiple updates and improvements.
It’s the perfect game for PS Plus Extra, especially if you decided to pass when it launched back in 2024.
The Persona series also receives multiple mentions, specifically Persona 4 Golden, Persona 3 Reload and Persona 5 Tactica.
Another interesting pick is Nine Sols, which has also been announced for Xbox Game Pass in September.
Nine Sols is a highly-rated 2D action platformer, which is influenced by the likes of Dark Souls and Sekiro.
“Nine Sols is a lore rich, hand-drawn 2D action-platformer featuring Sekiro-inspired deflection focused combat,” reads the official description.
“Embark on a journey of Asian fantasy, explore the land once home to an ancient alien race, and follow a vengeful hero’s quest to slay the 9 Sols, formidable rulers of this forsaken realm.”
Other picks include Stellar Blade, Dragon’s Dogma 2, Hades, Red Dead Redemption 2, Still Wakes the Deep, Caravan Sandwich, Kingdom Come Deliverance 2, Undisputed, Octopath Traveler II and The Crew Motorfest.
Atomic Heart continues to receive multiple picks, as well as the usual suspects of Resident Evil Village, Resident Evil Biohazard, Resident Evil 4, Lords of the Fallen and Assassin’s Creed Mirage.
First-party picks include Gran Truism 7, Spider-Man 2, Horizon Forbidden West, LEGO Horizon Adventures and The Last of Us Part 2.
Finally, one hopeful fan thinks Hollow Knight Silksong will join PS Plus Extra, which seems unlikely.
