The PS Plus Extra and Premium games are just days away from being announced by Sony. The upcoming PlayStation Plus titles will be revealed on the afternoon of July 9. The majority of the games will be playable from July 15.
Sony has already announced a few of the games coming to Extra and Premium, as Twisted Metal 3 and Twisted Metal 4 join Premium on July 15, followed by the day-one release of Abiotic Factor for Extra subscribers on July 22.
With the remaining PS4 and PS5 games proving to be something of a mystery, subscribers have been attempting to predict the line-up ahead of the official reveal.
In the monthly predictions thread on Reddit, multiple PS Plus Extra subscribers believe Mortal Kombat 1 will join the line-up on July 15.
Adding Mortal Kombat 1 to the PS Plus Extra library would be a great way to promote the Mortal Kombat: Legacy Kollection, which will launch later this year.
Likewise, the upcoming release of Resident Evil Requiem has resulted in Resident Evil 4 and Resident Evil Village receiving countless picks in the predictions thread.
With the football season at an end, and the next entry in the series still a few months away, there’s also a strong belief that EA FC 25 could make an appearance on PS Plus Extra. If it doesn’t get added to the library, then don’t be surprised if it’s one of the Essentials for August.
Quite a few Ubisoft games are mentioned in the predictions thread, including The Crew Motorfest, Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora and Assassin’s Creed Mirage.
The usual suspects of Atomic Heart, Hades, Lords of the Fallen, Pacific Drive and various Yakuza/Like a Dragon games are also picked.
Elsewhere, fans are tipping the likes of Scorn, Terminator Resistance, Sonic Superstars, Blasphemous and Lies of P to appear.
That’s on top of Bluey, Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess, Rise of the Ronin, Star Wars Outlaws, Cuphead and Chained Echoes.
Needless to say, first part games like Until Dawn Remastered, The Last of Us Part 2 and Gran Turismo 7 are predicted.
Other games listed in the predictions thread include The Casting of Frank Stone, South Park Snow Day, Viewfinder, Dragons Dogma 2, The Art of Rally, Lost in Random, Test Drive Unlimited : Solar Crown, Planet Zoo, Cocoon, Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty, Cyberpunk 2077, Final Fantasy 16 and Flock.
