The Duchess, who passed away aged 92 earlier this month, was laid to rest yesterday at Westminster Cathedral in a historic service led by the King.
The service was both a final farewell and a landmark moment – the first Catholic requiem mass for a royal in modern times, reflecting the Duchess of Kent’s devotion and lasting legacy.
By turning to Taylor for such a significant occasion, Kate seemed to offer a subtle but meaningful tribute to the Duchess’s enduring place in royal fashion history.
