Princess Kate may be a future Queen, but this does not stop her from being a typical mum to her three children Prince George, 11, Princess Charlotte, 9, and Prince Louis, 6.
While it has been made clear over the years how hands-on Kate is when it comes to raising her children, whether that be cooking their dinners, jumping with them on the trampoline, or taking them for days out, not everyone knows about the family’s sweet Halloween tradition.
Over the years, the family has been seen celebrating Halloween in one way or another, with Kate once caught on a CCTV doorbell in London with her children trick-or-treating.
The Princess of Wales was seen standing by a neighbour’s gate in London with her children in 2022 as they were dressed in costumes and waiting to trick-or-treat. She was holding a bag believed to be full of sweet treats.
In 2019, Kate was also seen in a supermarket buying Halloween costumes for her children at the King’s Lynn branch of Sainsbury’s.
She was spotted with Charlotte and George looking at all the outfits on display.
One shopper told The Mirror at the time: “She was with Charlotte and George looking at Halloween outfits but her bodyguard was kind of watching people with phones and telling them no pictures.
“I didn’t see what she actually bought. The lady that told me she was there had children with her and she said Kate was asking her children what they were going to be for Halloween.
2I think she bought some Halloween bits for her kids but I don’t know what.”
