Princess Kate's gushing four-word praise of Prince William for his unwavering support

With the Princess of Wales still in hospital, recovering from a planned abdominal surgery, it is undoubtedly a difficult time for the Royal Family at the moment.

One royal bound to be especially burdened by Princess Kate’s absence is husband Prince William, with the added parenting duties enhancing the natural stress brought on by having a loved one in hospital.

Putting aside all official engagements, Prince William has every minute of his time towards supporting and caring for his close family during this tumultuous time. Given the young age of children Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, eight, and Prince Louis, 5, this approach was necessary.

The king-to-be, however, has not let the stress get the better of him and is thought to be taking good care of his wife as she recovers.

Previously, Princess Kate has praised her husband for his love and care, saying she’s “in good hands” with him.

Speaking to crowds as she did a walkabout at Cardiff Castle during the Platinum Jubilee celebrations in 2022, Princess Kate can be seen chatting to enthusiastic members of the public, one of whom told her that she would make a great Princess of Wales when the time came.

In a response that spoke to her husband’s steadfast support for her as she gracefully navigates her way through royal life, Princess Kate responded: “That’s very kind of you,” and, as she gestured towards Prince William, “I’m in good hands.”

The contents of the clip, initially posted by @hellen3030, become increasingly relevant given the Princess of Wales’s current condition.

Having been in hospital since January 17, with a further week of recovery expected, unwavering support is much needed.

Kensington Palace have kept the exact details of the Princess’s current condition tightly under wraps and have not revealed the reason for the abdominal surgery, but did confirm it was not cancerous.

Less than 24 hours after Princess Kate’s hospitalisation was made public, Prince William was seen driving away from the private hospital in Central London where his wife was being cared for.

After a fortnight in hospital, Princess Kate is expected to continue her recovery in Adelaide Cottage in Windsor, side by side with her family.

It is thought that she will remain absent from official engagements until after Easter.
