Princess Kate’s condition ‘very worrying’ as royals ripped apart in health crisis

A royal commentator has claimed it is “very disappointing and very worrying” with regard to Princess Kate’s stay and duration in hospital, after her abdominal surgery.

Reflecting on the impact this may have on the Royal Family, royal commentator Angela Levin discussed the issue with presenter Mark Dolan on GB News. She said: “You can see that there is a concern because William is also not going to do any work.”

She added: “Not only is he visiting, of course, and looking after the children but he’s going to be close to her once she gets home, and be with her.”

The royal commentator explained it was “wonderful” to see Prince William putting his family first, but this would mean not being able to conduct public duties.

Also on GB News, Ms Levin stressed Princess Kate is a “strong woman” who “loves her family” – traits which will help her recover.

Commenting on the duties of the Royal Family, Ms Levin explained how the public “expects them to be perfect” at all times. Mr Dolan agreed, and claimed that surgery is “not a trivial matter”.

In a statement released by Kensington Palace on social media, it was revealed that the Princess of Wales was admitted to The London Clinic to have a “planned procedure” on her abdomen.

The palace said the Princess of Wales, 42, apologised for postponing upcoming engagements.

Established in 1932, and situated in the heart of London’s medical community, The London Clinic is one of the UK’s largest private hospitals, which cost approximately £80m to build.

In another statement released by Buckingham Palace, it was announced that King Charles will also be hospitalised next week, after being diagnosed with an enlarged prostate, which is “benign”.

Prince William and Queen Camilla are expected to withdraw their royal schedules to look after King Charles and Princess Kate.

But both will have to postpone public engagements for a short period, and Kate is “unlikely to return to public duties until after Easter.”

Although the Palace declined to disclose the specific nature of Princess Kate’s treatment, it is believed her condition is non-cancerous.
