The Princess of Wales’s close aide reportedly made a major move regarding Meghan Markle, after news broke that she would be stepping down from her current role for a new career. Natasha Archer, who has been working as a personal assistant and stylist for Princess Kate since 2010, quit her job at Kensington Palace to set up her own private consultancy.

Tash, as she is known to friends and family, reportedly made her private Instagram account public, following the news of her new career. And according to reports, she was spotted following both Meghan Markle and her brand, As Ever’s account, as well as some of the Duchess’s friends, before quickly unfollowing them.

She also reportedly unfollowed Highbrow Hippie’s page, which is affiliated with Meghan’s hair colourist, Kadi Lee and fashion pages about both the Duchess and the Princess’s styles.

Ms Archer’s account has since become private again.

According to People magazine, apart from Meghan’s handles, the account followed Daniel Martin, Delfina Blaquier and Heather Dorak, who are also known to be pals of the Duchess.

The outlet also claimed that as of July 17, Mr Arche was still following Meghan’s close pals and former Suits co-stars, Abigail Spencer and Sarah Rafferty.

Also in her following list were reportedly the official Instagram accounts for the Prince and Princess of Wales and the King and Queen.

Other royal pages included Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice’s husbands’ pages.

Ms Archer is said to have been detrimental to shaping Kate’s fashion from the time she married into the Royal Family.

Last year, she was promoted to a senior private executive.

The 37-year-old, who is married to Getty’s royal photographer Chris Jackson, has also previously worked for the private office of the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester from 2007 until 2010.

She attended £48,000-a-year Uppingham School in Rutland and took A Levels in English, Art, Spanish and Italian.

She also studied Hispanic studies at King’s College London in 2005.
